interesting factoid in the wsj this morning. The article had an interesting chart (wsj will not let me copy and paste charts) about the leading economic sectors increasing year over year in the PPI (producer price index). Number 1 was financial services i.e. Brokerage fees and investment advice. Number 2 was drugs. The article was about drug price increases (hep c and ms drugs) but I found it interesting that financial advice has increased 20.9% but drugs only 9.8%. Gas dropped 28.8%
