can anyone give a resource on how to find opportunities without going through agencies?
Is there a specific reason you don't want to use agencies? The problem with just showing up for work is the malpractice coverage. Agencies will have a plan in place to make sure you are not working naked and also to cover other issues that may arise. Perhaps talk to some colleagues who do locums and find out how they got connected.
