  • What do you spend your \"fun money\" on?

What do you splurge on? Hobbies? Cars? Model trains?

What are your guilty pleasures? Don't worry, I won't tell WCI.

I like video games, computers, technology in general.

Haven't been to my local vineyards lately since my wife is nine months pregnant (due this coming week!). I went out there today to give her a day to herself. I'm a member at three places and had late pickups at two - ended up coming home with 13 bottles of wine that I'd already paid for.

Now I "need" a new wine fridge, and that's even accounting for having some in the cabinet where it's nearly 60 degrees and some dessert whites in the regular fridge.

Buy things for wife, parents, nieces/nephews, and wife's family. There isn't anything I could buy for myself that would really improve my life unless I could buy time.
Erstwhile Dance Theatre of Dayton performer cum bellhop. Carried (many) bags for a lovely and gracious 59 yo Cyd Charisse. (RIP) Hosted epic company parties after Friday night rehearsals.

Beer.  My wife just bought me a beer "Advent calendar" where I get a new beer each day.  Sacrilegious perhaps but enjoyalbe

              That and nice dinners out

Of course you could argue that living in a HCOL area is my real splurge!

Getting together with my friends to eat or occ get pedicures. Buying adorable, overpriced clothing for my kids. And shopping for myself. Most of my hobbies are free. And we have a separate vacation account. My husband spends his on games, books, and food.
