Some things are more important than FIRE. What are you drinking?

My current weeknight favorite is Penfolds Bin 389

Depends how fancy I'm feeling. Either Carlo Rossi or a Bota Box.

I don't have a refined palate so I can't really tell a difference between a nice glass or a subpar glass. My preference is any full-bodied red if I'm drinking wine but I could crush champagne all day.

All wine is disgusting. I'm sorry, it needs to be said.

I do love a nice cocktail, preferably whiskey based. 😁

Wine - Clos du Bois Chardonnay for $7.77 from my local wine store. Not a wine critic and purposefully preventing myself from diving into that expensive hobby.

Beer - Lots of IPAs, usually try to buy 12-24 pack to save price/beer

Liquor - Fiancé is a margarita fiend so I make lots of Tommy's Margaritas. Buy a 1.75L bottle of Lunazul, squeeze fresh limes and agave nectar = ~$1 per margarita

          Totally agree on both points!

My wife likes wine. Lots of good wineries here in the finger lakes. She likes dry resiling. Dr. Frank's is a favorite.

We did a weekend wine tour down Seneca and Keuka last summer. I drove and she drank. Picked up lots of good stuff!

            Willamette Pinot or Napa Cab.

            Or beer.

            Or scotch.

Sometimes all three, depending on the day.

I make homemade fruit syrups for delicious cocktails. That said, I love a fine Bordeaux, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, brunello, or zin.

We are literally sitting in a B&B in Napa currently, so I’m going to say a California cab.

Last year I had a patient who is a wine distributor. He asked me some thoughtful questions about my wine preferences and since has turned me onto Reustle Pinot Noir. It's now my go to wine after a long week---looking forward to opening one Thursday!

I tend to reds in the winter and whites in the summer but stocking up on both with spring sales and free shipping. Just ordered some Ridge Lytton Springs and Pride Viognier on sale. Also went to the local wine store and picked up various white Bordeaux and white Burgundies, Sancerre, and some Napa Sauvignon Blanc. Ready for summer now.

Just had a Josh Cellars Pinot, super good. I haven't tried many California pinots but I liked it better than Oregon Pinot. Less thin, more fruit.

Usually big bold napa cabs or zins.

"Daily" is either Quilt or Bonanza or Duckhorn cab, always have a case of each on hand ; preferably an Orin Swift (Palermo, Mercury Head, Papillon, 8yrs) or Brown Estate or Caymus for a nice steak dinner.

California/west coast reds are easy to sample...it's hard to learn the nuances of French wine but extremely fun to sample different vintages as part of a wine club, or become friends with a very knowledgeable person with an endowed cellar.
