The comparison of marijuana to alcohol is completely irrelevant, medically.

i dont think many people are truthfully arguing for medical use, and when alcohol was illegal the same "medical" arguments were around, probably not related.

The whole medicinal marijuana business is simply a roundabout way of accessing high quality buds legally since our government continues to drag their feet on nationwide recreational marijuana legislation. Now if recreational marijuana was legalized, I'd imagine there wouldn't be much conversation at all on the medicinal benefits of the substance. You wouldn't need to justify why you get high, for the same reason that nobody needs to justify getting buzzed/drunk on a weekend.

They always deny it, one trick is ask them what makes it better. For some reason long hot showers seem to mitigate the symptoms. They all are very clean….

I don’t know the science behind the “amotivational syndrome” but anecdotally seems to be real

and lots of data on deleterious effects of chronic use on developing teenage minds
