Ugh, I hated this one during the early days of covid! We’d hear it from C-suite all the time as they’re sending an email or conducting a zoom meeting from their home office, while we’re in the clinic seeing covid patients with nothing on but a paper surgical mask.

Yep. We’re all in this together. Our c-suite decided all docs would get an equal pay cut….the same percent for the spine surgeons who got 8 weeks off as the icu docs who were rounding on 2 full services……
I want my hormones checked.
I don't eat much.
i am tired.
i have a high pain tolerance.
i do not want an epidural.
The last was actual personal. My spouse was in the hospital room and refused an epidural until "I" got there. The nurse that called me told me I had plenty of time, probably six or eight hours. That was not helpful. I took my time. I did face a crazy lady that turned out to be my wife. "Where were you!" The anesthesiologist waited and said "Are you ready now?"
This is not really a statement, but something that I've noticed over the past 5 years that annoys the absolute ************************ out of me is the use of the word RIGHT as a verbal crutch. For instance, when somebody is speaking, particularly when they are explaining something or making a point, they will interject the word RIGHT with questioning tone. I find it fairly insulting to have someone talk to you this way.
I didn't really notice it until this past year, since which time this trend seems to be growing exponentially, RIGHT???????
I notice it everywhere now. Biden's almost intolerably patronizing press secretary is especially guilty of doing it.
