The day I decided not to pull the trigger on Amazon stock when it was trading in the 60s.

In the mid 1990s I ordered a great cook book on amazon, thought: “ cool company, sells books online, would buy stock if I had $”

Remember discussion with friends. We were cooking BBQ and hanging out and I ordered a BBQ book, a Thai cook book and a Vietnamese cookbook.

I also ordered some lectures by great speakers.

I was astonished at the variety of books they sold. I was a broke (negative net worth) medical student and was barely paying rent.

If I had put a couple thousand in…..?

Hindsight bias but I remember it clearly.

In 2006 I thought it would be a good idea to buy Netflix but didn’t because I just thought the price would go down just because I bought it

I regret not buying Amazon. Maybe Tesla.

Actually Enron at the right time to short it. 12/28/2000 to 12/31/2001. LTCG.

Wouldn't have done me much good for me since HD's lifetime starts before mine did.

So I'll say OSTK. Up 4000% briefly in mid-2020.

True... Wasn't the first ever btc transaction like 10,000 for a pizza? I woulda sold when btc hit $1. So hopefully in this fantasy we get to tell ourselves when to sell too.
