  • Graduating present for radiology resident?

Any input on what to get that is not geared toward finances?

I'm already thinking the WCI book.

What else can a young radiologist use?

Don't radiologists make other doctors find the clinical correlation?

I just wrote a post about books for graduates. It was more towards younger people, but some of these could be used for older folks. Here is the link.

How about X-ray vision? Watson doesn't have that.

Sorry you're not getting great advice so far.

Rads spend most of their time on computers, either going over real cases or reviewing educational cases online or on dvd.  Depending on how much or little you are willing to spend, he/she may appreciate a high end laptop or desktop computer.

Yes -- that's why the rads doc needs this as a gift.  Perhaps they will no longer need to tell other people to go look for it.
