I have seen several docs cut back in our group on total days in the office but their visit numbers do not decrease much. It seems they just have more packed days when they are working. There are pros and cons to this.

Monday though Friday. Never weekends except for call, which lately isn't much.
Have considered off Wednesday & on Saturday, to grab those weekenders. But I just can't bring myself to it.

I work 3 days a week in office, Thursday is always Admin, my day off is variable, depending on the call schedule. My partners (who do have the admin time) work 4 days a week with variable day off (most of time it is a Monday, Wednesday or Friday).

I suspect that people who value the money more than the time will gravitate towards that group and those who value the time more will gravitate towards yours.

I work Monday-Wednesday, and I won’t even consider a job move that doesn’t allow me to keep the same schedule.

I take random Fridays off throughout the year when I have trouble filling my schedule

Wednesdays off break the week up nicely. I find that I get bored by Sunday afternoon so a 3 day weekend* wouldn’t be as productive or enjoyable for me. ( *covid time in NY state- so it may be different in the summer or during normal times)

I have to do tuesdays for family reasons, but would prefer mid week anyway (t,w or th). It helps break up the monotomy of things, I'm always a day or two away from a day off, and you can accomplish more real life stuff (lawyers/drs appt, banking, etc) in the middle of the week than on M or F since everyone else is trying to take those days off.

Didn't vote. A more applicable poll would be: which months do you prefer taking off?

I leave a few hours early on Friday. It was Thursday but I am not the lowest man on the totem pole anymore!
