I was revisiting it and someone wondered how many people here actually have a regular workweek. So, poll.

I started taking Mondays off, my kids aren't in school and although I haven't tried it I think I'd prefer it to a broken up workweek. Many people swore by Wednesdays off.

i have had mondays off since my fourth year of residency. until this year i had only worked about 5 mondays in fifteen plus years.

this year i was more flexible, and took many wednesdays off instead because my kids have asynchronous learning, aka, nothing. so i take wednesdays off and we go skiing or hiking.

i prefer Mondays off.

I work M-F but we get a lot of leave so take random days off occasionally. I’ve tried different days for those random days and prefer Friday to a midweek day or even to a Monday.

I leave a few hours early on Friday. It was Thursday but I am not the lowest man on the totem pole anymore!

I have to do tuesdays for family reasons, but would prefer mid week anyway (t,w or th). It helps break up the monotomy of things, I'm always a day or two away from a day off, and you can accomplish more real life stuff (lawyers/drs appt, banking, etc) in the middle of the week than on M or F since everyone else is trying to take those days off.

Wednesdays off break the week up nicely. I find that I get bored by Sunday afternoon so a 3 day weekend* wouldn’t be as productive or enjoyable for me. ( *covid time in NY state- so it may be different in the summer or during normal times)

I have senior partners who take Fridays off in the summer.
