the attachment will not attach for some reason. It is a pdf from my social security.com It is entitled Your retirement benefit: how it is calculated. It is a table of Factors that you multiply your earnings by to see what it would be in todays dollars. Anyway I was surprised to find that I was making $960k in 1995. Residency salaries when adjusted for inflation are exactly the same. For those of you afraid to open your own practice I went from making $250k to >$800k in inflation adjusted terms in the year I did it.
