    You can, but it is up to the state where you live to decide whether you qualify. 10% of a physician income may be above the threshold for unemployment benefit. It is worth a shot.

    Can you claim partial unemployment for reduced income?

    1099 IC. As most physicians, income is down to 5-10% of precoronavirus levels. I’ve never applied for unemployment before - are you allowed to apply for simply reduced income but still making something?

    ive looked into PPP and applied but haven’t gotten anything from the bank so was directing efforts towards possible partial unemployment for the moment.
