Licensing companies worth it?

I accepted a new position and need to get a MD license.  Anyone know what the turn around time is for that state compared to others.  I have CT and NY license and the NY one was rather quick.

Are licensing companies/services worth it?  My prior licenses were obtained by inhouse credentialing people by my old practice.

I recently (ie, two days ago) applied for a PA license, did it mostly online, took about an hour and a half, two phone calls, three forms to mail. Overall, no big deal.

I used one to get a Texas Lic and I didn't find it helpful
