You might get lucky. I had minimal effects from the second shot. The first gave me some achiness that woke me up but was gone by 24 hours. People talking about the second shot on this forum and elsewhere had me pretty worried but I am glad I just went ahead and did it. I say forge ahead.👍 3Comment

Hold that thought, allocation of vaccines for 2nd doses have not been given priority. The recommended time gaps have been tossed out of the supply allocations. That is the direction. The number of shots is the metric.Comment

36 hours out from second Pfizer shot. Was also expecting the worst, based on reading this thread. I took some prophylactic Tylenol last night before bed so that I wouldn’t wake up miserable in the middle of the night and have my all important first night of post-48 hour call sleep interrupted. Slept like a baby and have had no side effects. Deltoid less sore than the first vaccine, which was also very mild.1 Photo👍 4Comment

I'm with FLP on this one. Max protection ASAP. I felt awful and would not have wanted to work, but I could have gotten through for the grand prize. I definitely do not want to repeat the experience every year....👍 2Comment

I’m due for dose 2 on Monday but thinking of putting it off until February. Hoping that will limit side effects and extend duration of protection. My hospital has clinics scheduled through next Monday. After that it might be harder to get. Does the anecdata suggest people are having more second dose reactions with Pfizer compared to Moderna?
Get it on Monday. Side effects with 2nd dose of Pfizer not bad at all. Almost negligible for more than half the people here.
If they open up the vaccinations and not have the 2nd dose in reserve, you might not get your 2nd dose for quite some time.

Informal survey of my partners, a couple were sore, but most felt on the lousy end of the spectrum; universal agreement that it is better than even mildly symptomatic COVID. Most of us booked the inoculation the day before being off. One was still symptomatic two days out, but that is the outlier.
Good luck, Li!👍 4Comment

30hrs post Pfizer #2 and so far so good. Did it at the start of the long weekend as literally the other 7 people who got it early in the week missed at least one day due to post vaccine symptoms. Hopefully not jinxing myself. Arm was sore last night but better today.👍 1Comment

WHO decides vaccines are a moral problem.
Not sure a healthcare organization should be the judgement entity.Comment
