It just needs a gun turret on the back and it will be ready to fight off the alien menace on Ganymede

I like that they are at least pushing the envelope but this truck would be awful for a construction business as far as functionality goes. Where would you put your tool box? How do you reach stuff that is in the bed closest to the cabin? The design doesn't allow you to reach over and grab something from the bed easily. I guess you could stand on the tire but that would be somewhat awkward.

That looks like a tough truck bed to use for most people who use their truck bed 'normally'.

I seriously thought it was some joke when they first rolled it out.

The event was all around cringey, with the windows unexpectedly shattering during the ball experiment, along with Elon's poor presentation skills.

I'm still holding out to upgrade to the Y in a year or two.

Cybertruck. This is the thread that keeps on giving. Not sure any F150 people are going to change over to drive a triangle on wheels. It looks remarkably like the pinewood derby car I built in cub scouts as a child.

Yeah, that 'truck' looks a bridge too far - Delorean truck.

Who knows, if it crushes in specs and performance, I'm sure some urban folk will find a reason to get this. The rural folk? Perhaps in a gen or two. maybe. when coal dies and our planet is 2 degrees warmer. Perhaps. maybe.

Oh Elon, it looks so different. I wonder about must have accessories. My camper and toolbox and diesel tank. You think they will fit?

Might want to rethink a few thinks. Like how make claims about how rugged this beast is.

Bless you heart Elon. I'll stick with my El Camino for now. If you got a camper I can sell the RV! Any plans for a toilet?

Can something be so ugly it becomes desirable?
What market are they trying to capture with this?
Not people who already drive trucks. I doubt they will be converted.

Really does look nice - let's see it deliver on both specs and experience. Still have my Y reservation active -
