I've been complaining to my husband for years that they need to teach money/financial management in every grade starting with grade 1 and advance the complexity every year thereafter until finishing high school. I think good financial skills out way the value of a medical degree. If you have good financial skills AND a medical degree you are really ready to succeed.

Sex ed and financial literacy are inter-related.  No question in my mind as an OB/GYN that girls going to college do not get pregnant in high school.  Hard to reach financial independence if you have kids too young.  High School and College should require personal finance.
