Curious about business expensing CE.

I am a dentist who earns about 80% of my salary at my W2 employer. I sometimes work as a 1099 some Saturdays as a sole proprietor.

For meetings and CE, is it correct to to deduct the full cost as a business expense as CE and these meetings are for job as well as to maintain licensure for both my W2 and 1099? Just curious what everyone's thoughts were
