    Your plan for work tasks is reasonable, but I'm not sure you understand fair market value (FMV) wages. They are a comparable wage you would pay someone based on their; knowledge, skills, experience and geographic location. Also for technical positions, certifications are factored in.

    You can not just l pay a pre-teen "market rates", with no prior education, skill set or certifications. I think it would probably be hard to justify more than the greater of minimum wage or 25% of mid-range web designer wages initially.

    When the teen can equal the productivity, innovation and quality of an experienced web designer. Then you might be in the ballpark. When we are talking about this hiring of minor dependents. A good question would always be; what would someone else pay them?
