  • 1099 side gig pays for my malpractice - do I reflect this on my taxes anywhere?

Hello - I have a 1099 tele-hospitalist (90% tele, 10% in person) side gig where the firm pays for my malpractice insurance. Basically I sign up myself for the malpractice company and policy they approve, the firm uses their credit card to pay for it, and I get the certificate and receipt sent me. The certificate shows my name, my home address as the primary place of practice, and also the facilities for places of practice. My question is whether the malpractice insurance payment needs to be shown on my taxes or not. I received my 1099-NEC form, and the $ shown on there does not include the malpractice insurance payment.

    Thanks
