I dont use a roboadvisor, but have heard one knock against them is they create pages of transactions which is a major PITA for reporting on taxes, especially those that advertise daily TLH opportunities.

For someone who is doing their taxes and has used a service like wealthfront, do you input every single transaction and date on form 8949? Do you just write various for dates bought and dates sold? Can you just put 12/31/xx for dates sold (as long as it doesnt make a dif for short vs long term loss, but I'm assuming all are short term w roboadvisors)? Do you just attach your brokerage forms and say see forms?

Basically, how much more annoying do roboadvisors make tax filing?
