  • Question on Tax Loss Harvesting

Can I use "tax losses" from selling ETFs/mutual funds to offset gains from interest earned on savings accounts, bonds or earnings on crowdfunding sites/syndications?

Up to $3,000 counts against ordinary income, so technically the answer is Yes, but there's a limit.

There's no limit to the amount of realized capital gains you can offset by harvesting capital losses, though.
