Had some issues dealing with FedLoan in the past since I was not the borrower. They told me that you can submit a (Limited) Power of Attorney form to them and be given full access to the account (See below link). Searched the internet for a template and touched it up a bit. All it took was to fill it out, have a notary sign it, and then upload the form to their website (recently approved). Super easy and I am sure it will avoid future headache for my wife.
