Student loan question

Hello

I have about 170k in student loans (IBR, currently about 6.5 % interest) and send applications for refinancing with some of the blog advertisers. I have an offer for 10 year variable for about 3.5 % interest. Does this seem like a reasonably good rate or should I wait it out to hear from others.

How long are you planning to take to pay that off?

Sounds pretty good. I am a fellow and went with DRB with 3.5% fixed for 5 year (clock starts after fellowship finishes).

My goal is to try to pay it off as soon as possible as long as it won't prevent me from maximizing my 401k, 457b and Roth iras.
