I refinanced with earnest with an offer letter.

    100k over 8 years at 2.4 variable...I could get a fixed at around 4.

(If you use my link we both get 200 bucks I think)

Good luck.  Hope you got a good offer.  Our hospital is offering a urologist position $850k for first year if you are interested.

  • Student loan refinancers that will accept offer letters for attending position

My girlfriend is a final year urogyn fellow looking at attending positions and just got an offer last week. She's got a medium sized debt load that we decided would be best to just pay off (she'd be about 7 years away from PSLF since she consolidated all the loans in 2012). She tried SoFi before she got an offer letter and got rejected. I've heard there are places that will accept offer letters in lieu of actual proof of current income for rising attendings. We'd love to take advantage of that and lock in a low variable rate on her loan balance while she pays it off in the first year of her new job since it would save about $3,000. Does anyone have any experience with companies that accept offer letters and will work with final year fellows? Much appreciated.
