  • What to do with old 401Ks

I have 2 old 401Ks from my last job. THey are at terrible places like Prinicipal and Transamerica. My Current Employer 401K is reasonable....simple with relatively low cost funds with expense ratios around 0.3

I also have a solo 401K at TD AMeritrade that I opened but haven't funded yet. They did say they could accept rollovers from employer 401Ks. Here I would have unlimited choice of investments. But more choice usually makes things harder for me.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance

Yes.....my current employer also accepts rollovers. I currently have my solo 401K at TD AMeritrade but I think it is getting converted to Schwab since Schwab bough them

So, rollover. Your choice of which account you use; "more choice" does not make things harder if you have a plan.

I have only rollover-ed once, Fidelity, it was straightforward.
