  • will be opening new 401(k) or HSA brokerage account - can I freeze credit?

I just started a new job and will be contributing to a 401k (not set up yet) with my next paycheck. I also started contributing to an HSA last week but haven't reached the threshold where I can invest any of the money yet. I want to freeze my credit with the big 3 plus Innovis and ChexSystems as everyone else seems to be doing, but I'm wondering if that would cause any problems with opening a new 401(k) or investing money in my HSA? I'm assuming Equifax/Experian/TransUnion won't cause any problems, but I read that ChexSystems may get an inquiry for opening a new brokerage account for instance. Any problems going ahead with the freeze on all of them at this point?
