  • Fundrise users: Have you had to file out-of-state tax returns?

I believe most fundrise investments will include out-of-state properties. Wondering if filing multiple state returns is expected and if so, is it worth the hassle...

I'm in the long-term growth fund and got a 1099 only (no K-1). So the answer for me is no.

You shouldn't for the Fundrise REITs I don't think, that's one benefit of the REIT structure I believe.

My only Fundrise investment predates the REITs, but it was a property in my state, so I didn't have to file another return.
