Malpractice considerations for W2 employee getting additional part time work

The work would be in a different city about 60 miles away.  I don't think she would inform the group.  Her contract does not prohibit her from outside work.

Are you trying to keep it from the rest of the group? I would think the best rates you could get would be through the group insurance.

My wife is an Anesthesiologist employed as a W2 in a private group.  She will be a partner next year, but has gotten an offer to do some part time work for a dental practice of a good friend of ours.  I wanted to see what steps we would need to take in order to make this happen.  Particularly with malpractice insurance.  Thanks
