  • Negotiating contact with kaiser

This would be my first job (still in third year of residency), looking at an offer in northern California kaiser. They say contracts non negotiable and everyone gets the same contact. Anyone tried and succeeded or failed to negotiate any changes with them? Any tips? I'm hoping to get a stipend while I'm finishing my last year of residency as some jobs sometimes offer.

    They are non-negotiable. Good luck.

I've noticed a lot of employed systems are going towards standardized contracts.  Private practice is still more willing to negotiate.

Would LOVE to hear of anyone "negotiating" with Kaiser, so if u get something back and stick it to the man come back and share

No way you would get a stipend like that from Kaiser.

You won't be able to negotiate anything more than what they offer, but the benefits they offer are very generous already.

I don’t think there is negotiation: base salary is equal across the board by specialty. . But if you’re in a field that is in high demand or you want to work in the Central Valley I have heard of forgivable loans and signing bonuses

                  Thanks for the responses.
I'm brand new to this but is it possible to be hired via an LLC? Will that overall save you allot more money or do you miss out on employee benefits like health insurance, 401k, pension? (
