Anyone have experience with Fyzical franchise investment?

I don't, but I am viscerally opposed to investing in a business with such a name.  I find the trend of misspelling words in business names completely stupid and immediately question the intelligence of any management team using these names.

I remember seeing a business called "Kids Konnections" that advertised services for teaching children to read.  No, I won't be sending my child to learn to read at a company that can't even spell its own name correctly.

I just spent 5 minutes on the website and still have no idea what they do.

It would be cool to have an off-the-shelf PT business but I have a lurking suspicion that Abrams is the one getting rich from this investment.

Look forward to hearing from those that participated in this or any franchising deals.

Donnie, I agree.  I read several books about branding when I was naming my gigs.  There is specific talk about that kind of thing.  However, all I could think about was some of the unfortunate children's names...it can really go beyond the pale.

But don't be too critical of your reading academy--they could have chosen to be called KKK: Kidz Konnexion Klub.

OK , yeah silly name. But, it is the hot ticket right now in turn key Vestibular Rehab/PT which for ENT's and Neurologists is an excellent ancillary income stream.

Our group is seriously looking at it.

Yep, it's been around for a long time, but is currently a rapidly growing treatment modality.

i have not used them but am constantly inundated with marketing material from them.  they have a big open house somewhere in alabama next week to show off their model.  I'm not interested. A- i dont really like seeing dizzy patients. Very rarely do they have inner ear disorders and rarely can i help them.  And the visits are long and complicated.  They are much better served by seeing a primary MD that will actually look at all their meds and such and do orthostatic testing on them.  At least 1/4 dizzy patients sent to me by primary care say the same thing "when i stand up real quick i feel like i'm going to pass out; my doctor said it was because i had fluid on my ears."  My nurse does BP testing on them and it drops 30 points when they stand up.  and i send them back to primary care (or more likely their urgent care of choice that they use for primary care).  B- Enterprises like this can be immediately ruined by CMS changing reimbursement.  then you are left with all the equipment and office space you built on, etc.  C. it really pushes you as a physician to just send every pt with the slightest complaint through the testing and rehab.  Just like the docs doing 10 balloon sinuplasty cases a week on pts with normal CT scans or the ones doing tongue base radiofrequency ablations as stand alone treatment for OSA on every pt that walks in.  It might make you a lot of money, but i think it leads you to put money over patient care.
