Why? Despite the common thread of financial goals, we represent a WIDE range of opinions, come from a varied background and experiences. Yet most conversations remain remarkably civil and even keeled--much more than the average physician lounge I bet.
I oftentimes are very much at odds with FLP and find his antics and most recent attempt of respect and humility somewhat hallow given prior attitudes -- but viewpoints can evolve. He absolutely has a place here and I welcome his input as well as anyone else's. We are better off with a vibrant exchange than an echo chamber.
OP - I don't believe you should premptively strike with the notice. There is a chance of disclosure, but your future job still brings you to this hospital it seems per prior responses so privileges still are in play here. I don't know if a notice and flipping off the meeting is advisable with that in consideration.
