Any recommendations on Valuation Companies and/or Practice Management firms?

We are a financial advisory firm and like to have good, vetted allied professionals to refer to our clients that are physicians/surgeons.  We have a 5 person urology group in Texas that is looking to hire a firm to perform a valuation as they look to bring on additional doctors and create a better buy/sell agreements.  Naturally, we and they would prefer a valuation group that was independent as well as one that serves only the medical community.  We also would like to have a handful of more general practice management consultants that we can refer to our clients with confidence when a need arises.  I realize there are specialists (eg. just EHR, or billing, or valuation, practice transition, startup, credentiallling, coding etc), as well as more conglomerate groups.  Has anyone worked with a group that they thought were just great?  Thank you!

Many large accounting firms will do that for you.  Also you can check with your specialty society or the MGMA.  The independence, transparency and methodology has to be established up front before any values are determined to make sure there is group buy in and not suspicion about biased assessments.
