So, both houses wanted to change the rule to exempt $250k of LTCG per spouse on home sales to 5 of 8 years. But...it didn’t make it into the final bill. Those of you who are planning to sell under the 2 of 5 year rule still get the exemption. Great for some of our clients and I hope for you, too!
