  • Buying a home as an independent contractor with a PLLC corporation

I've formed a PLLC as suggested by my previous CPA and wondering if anyone has been able to get a physicians mortgage without requiring 2 years of tax returns.

I do have a guaranteed salary on the independent contractor contract... but some banks like KeyBank already told me that 2 yrs tax returns are required.
Just trying to get an idea as I wait to hear back from the rest of the banks.

    Thanks!

The tax returns are require for the income verification process of the underwriting. Two years of tax returns and current income.
Do not confuse tax return with LLC. The question is what is on the tax returns to document a 2 year history that allows a loan to be sold.

The only other option is a regional or local bank or credit union that will hold the loan based on your documentation of income.
