Any experience with Hanover insurance?

Thanks, the agent of course tells me the claims would be like butter

I don`t have experience with them but according to consumer reports they are ranked lower than State Farms.  State Farm ranked as 85 and Hanover Ranked as 80. It looks like State Farm has better claim satisfaction.

I recently refinanced our home at no cost out of a 30-yr fixed physician loan with a national bank, and into a conventional 15-yr fixed with a local bank (now that we developed enough equity in the house and interest rates are low).

My new bank is eager to get more of my business. I had them do an insurance reviews for life/disability, and also home/umbrella/auto. For the former, there are no changes to be made, but for the latter, they are offering equivalent policies with Hanover Insurance Group that would probably save us a few hundred dollars per year. We have been with State Farm for years for home/umbrella/auto and been very satisfied with their service. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with Hanover to inform our decision about a possible switch. Thanks.
