Next month I will be moving overseas for two years due to my husband's job. I am a dental sub-specialist, and have excellent disability coverage as recommended by this forum. The cost of the coverage is $400/month for a $14K/month benefit. Should I keep the policy and continue to pay the premiums even though I'm not working? I do intend to resume my practice when I return. Thoughts??

Do you want to keep working during this two year period overseas? If it’s a military PCS, possibly a GS or contractor position overseas. Otherwise perhaps insurance utilization and review. (The dark side, I realize, but something you could do if you don’t have licensure or speak the language where you’re going.)
Any chance that a dental school where you’re going could use an English speaking sub-specialist for didactics or clinical dentistry?
$9,600 over two years seems like reasonable insurance on being insurable in the future. That’s three weeks of disability insurance payout if you ever need to use your policy.
