Yes there are but it depends on what your specialty is, what state you live in and if there is a discount in place at your facility.

They are not all going away, only the resident and fellowship unisex for Principal is going away.

Just a general question: Is there a unisex policy out there that is true own-occupation with specialty-specific languageĀ that also does not limit mental/nervous benefits?

  • Unisex Disability Policies for Residents Go Away Feb 5th

Today Jamie Fleischner at Set for Life insurance confirmed a rumor I've been hearing.

I've recommended female doctors buy unisex policies because they are cheaper than gender specific policies (which men should buy.) Unfortunately, for residents, those policies are going away on Feb 5th. So if you're a female resident without disability insurance, NOW IS THE TIME. Here's my list of recommended insurance agents. Seriously. Call today and get this done.
