  • MGMA Datadrive Information For EM?

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had access to the MGMA information for 2017, using 2016 data?  Specifically I would like to find the $/RVU information for Emergency Medicine, nonacademic.

    Thanks in advance,

    TR

I know that Contract Diagnostics keeps current information, but you have to use their contract review services to get access. Don't believe you can get MGMA data for free.

If you have a relationship with your hospital, you should ask them.

Also, I have known of some people getting that info out of recruiters. Of course buying is always the right thing - But it is very expensive...

Medscape also gives data later towards the end of the year!!

                Thank you very much.

For those wondering, I work in a complete productivity ED model.  As you might expect, despite my attempts at getting admin to be transparent, they were willing to share rvu/year numbers but they have never been willing to share $/rvu.  Our contract us up for negotiation prior to next summer and I have been trying to get my ducks in a row.  In my model, this is the most important number, the rest is up to how hard we are willing to work. Numbers like $/hr are less helpful since we are a very productive group.

                Thanks again.

If I remember correctly, MGMA publishes their survey each August, so updated numbers should be available now or very soon. Also, I think they charge around $900 for the survey for non-members. Should be no big deal for your group to pitch in and get it. Money well spent for negotiating your new contract.

Hi, if anyone has MGMA data, can he/she please PM data regarding starting salaries for all specialists?

                        Thanks!

I would really appreciate starting salary info for psychiatry... info I have is 1-2 years out of date. I'll buy it at some point, this year budget is tight with move and boards coming up.
