Once those three elements are set, the trajectory of one's adult life is pretty much set. In the (negative) extreme, if I borrow $10m for a business and procreate several children with someone who will eventually hoist anchor, shove off, that isn't a recipe for a happy and fulfilling life. So, I generalize my point above: there is a correlation between good decisions and a happy/fulfilling life.
