  • Difficulty Accessing WCI site

    During the past week I have often had difficulty accessing the WCI website and forum.

    The following error message pops up:

    The web service to this account has been limited temporarily!


    If you're the owner of this website, please log in to your User Area to get this resolved.

    Is this a problem at my end, a website bandwidth issue, or something else?

      It's not your problem. Should be working now. If not, clear your cache and try again.

            Seriously. I keep asking them if I need to do that and they say no, the issue is something else. But I'm starting to wonder. Hopefully this time it's really fixed. I may end up eventually just dropping another quarter in the slot though.

              You're probably aware, but it happened for awhile today.  It's like the hospital being on divert...no good comes from it.

                Yep, ran into the same issue on Sunday and today.  It's been an issue off and on since the site went down for maintenance a couple weeks ago.

                I really like what you guys do with content and from a user-facing perspective on the website.  However, the SiteGround folks seem to have something going on that isn't ready for prime time.

                  Trust me, no one is more frustrated by this than me. The issue is apparently I used up my month's resources in 23 days, so every time it goes down I have to call and beg for more. No big deal, right? I just need to upgrade to the next plan. But they're telling me that's not the issue and that some other things need to be fixed, so I'm working on getting the developer to fix them.

                    Glad to know it was not my end. I had kept rebooting the web browser, deleting my history, etc. Hope it is all good now!

                        Well, I guess it is good they just don't want your $, but I would be frustrated by having to beg them.  Hopefully, it all gets worked out.

                          Still happening today...incredibly frustrating to have to try to access the site in 3 different web browsers and wait for it to finally render.

                            Wait, you're having issues today? The site hasn't been down at all today as far as I know. I've been on and off it most of the day.
