Site will be down for a bit this weekend

We're doing some major changes this weekend on the site (all back end stuff.) Don't be surprised if you swing by and find it down for a few hours, perhaps as many as 24. We should be up and running at full speed by Monday morning.

Hopefully this will result in a faster loading and more secure site for you.

yes, it seems a bit faster, doesn't it? I'll have to look at the data in a few days and see if it really is. You'll also notice that it is now "https", which makes it a little more secure too.

Its definitely much faster. I just built this computer (this week, 1st time, was fun) and its lightning quick with everything, except this site. Now its quite a noticeable difference, maybe less noticeable had one not just built one, but I can really tell.

A few posts and comments were lost on the site, mostly stuff posted Sunday and Monday I think. Just FYI. I've had a few inquiries as to whether posts were deleted for being inappropriate or something. So if you lost something, might want to post it again.

Also, I'm told that some Internet Service Providers may take up to 48 hours to realize WCI sits on a different server now. If you still cannot reach the site today from one of your computers (work, home, phone etc) I'd appreciate you letting me know.

There's not very many of them thankfully looking at the analytics data. We had a low day on Saturday, but the rest of the week has been about typical volume.

But I couldn't read the site on my hospital computer early this morning, so there are still a few out there who can't access it.
