Robinhood app?

I was reading about the Robinhood app, which offers trading with no commissions.

Can anyone recommend this app?

my friend has used it and supposedly it works well for his uses. no frills, gets the job done, clean interface, low cost.

I've been interested in the Robinhood app as well. I don't like that their philosophy is built around social stock picking with a day trading mentality, but most brokerages are built like that. It's good that they're putting downward pressure on brokerage commission fees.

I plan to try it out anyways once they have IRA capabilities and not just taxable accounts.

Fees shouldnt be much of a concern for you, so many free etfs, or big breaks like BofA where if you have something like 100k across all accounts theyre free, etc..
