  • HSA and tax loss harvesting

i have a few questions regarding tax loss harvesting
    1) if you own total stock market in both your taxable account and HSA, does that affect tax loss harvesting because of the wash sale rule?
HSA will have regular contributions throughout the year to be invested in the total stock market?

    2) if you own vanguard total stock market in taxable and fidelity total stock market in 401k, does that affect tax loss harvesting because of the wash sale rule?
I believe vanguard and fidelity track different indexes and therefore are not exactly the same.

I am trying to figure out how to invest the balance in HSA without affecting the ability to do TLH in the future.
I have several vanguard funds available in the HSA through health equity including vanguard institutional index fund (VIIIX), small value, mid cap, large value, bond funds and REIT index funds.

    I would appreciate any input
