  • Book Recommendation Asset Allocation

    Hello,

I know WCI has recommendations for books on the website and has recommended a few throughout the blog, but I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for books with a focus on asset allocation. I had read Bogleheads Guide to Investing, Intelligent Investor etc, but was wondering if there was any specific recommendation for asset allocation and developing ones plan in particular.

    Thank you!

David Swenson's Unconventional Success has a pretty detailed look at different asset classes and his thought on which are appropriate for individual investors along with a suggested allocation for money invested long term.

Many will disagree with his specific thoughts (e.g. no muni bonds) but he is a smart guy and it a good starting point

Rick Ferri's All About Asset Allocation is excellent.
