Actually, there was an anonymous survey done here a year or so ago. Not only compensation, years in practice, house, investments a pretty good picture of wealth (both assets and debt) and specialties.
Surprise, surprise, surprise. Lower number of years and lower comp led to less wealth. I answered you specific question, medscapes average. A lot of assumptions.
