OP, what is the point of all this? Curiosity? You have a job and seem to have an understanding or opinion about what salaries are or should be, and you don’t even care about your own specialty salary. So how does this information help you?

Of course I care about my specialties salary, I knew those numbers before I joined my field so this thread wasn’t started for me to find out about my specialty. The information may not be helpful to me but the purpose wasn’t to help me but to satisfy a curiosity of what my colleagues are making.

Reminds me of a question I saw in another forum about the salary of a CEO. Most posters were jumping to the conclusion that it was very high, in the range of $10-100M based on the news reports of a handful of outrageous salaries + bonuses given to CEO's of large corporations.
There was a Planet Money or Freakonomics episode a while back that answered this. If you define CEO as the head of a company, most CEP's are one or two person venture, like independent plumbers or AC repair services. And even if you restrict the CEO to a company of 5+ people or above the income is not much. The average CEO pay was $150K, not millions.
I suspect the same variability in physicians too. A few superstars, but the rest getting standard pay and benefits of +/- $250K.

I understand, but I’m actually surprised that even on a physician financial forum I get backlash when I ask the question: “How much do doctors make?” Why are doctors so hesitant on talking about money?

It is not backlash, it is just it is so variable and there is no one answer. No one is going to post their income and specialty on this board for all to see so that you can satisfy your curiosity of how much physicians make. Maybe you can get the ball rolling by posting your specialty and your income.
Heck, I don't know the salary of the specialists in my field who are in my town. I hear only rumors, not hard facts.

Cool link, https://lmgtfy.com/ I'll use it in the future
BTW if you look at the original post the question wasn't just the median salary but the physician salary percentiles, which isn't as easily searchable.

I am not sure that answer is available. MGMA has specialty specific percentiles but I don't know of them aggregating all together
