Need advisor but also CPA. Should I choose a company that does both?

I was thinking about getting financial advisor from Personal Choice Financial Advisors, but I also need a CPA for tax preparation.

I see that Fox & Company Wealth Management provides both financial planning and tax preparation.

My first question is wether you would recommend going with Fox & Company (for 2 in 1) rather than Personal Choice + separate CPA.

My second questions is how much is reasonable cost for the tax preparation.

I'd recommend Fox & Co. for sure (but no personal experience as a client), not just because of getting two-for-one though that's certainly a bonus.

If you're looking for FY22 help though you may be out of luck with them (and most others of similar quality).

Cost is mainly dependent on forms/complexity for tax preparation.

Any specific reason you can't do it yourself? How have you filed taxes and managed finances previously?

Financial Advisor, Financial Planning, tax preparation and tax planning are actually services that overlap but services with different wheelhouses.

This choice really depends on what services you are actually looking for. I would identify the specific services you want from FA, FP and your CPA.
Johanna is rather unique, but her FP approach might not be what you’re looking for. Much goal oriented rather than investment oriented. Probably under utilizing her talents.
