General rule is taxes owed in a state relate to income earned in that state.  There are marked

variations depending on the state however.  Do you have business licenses and professional licenses in

both states?  This can be a complicated area which will need to be sorted out by an advisor

and some jurisdictions want to know how much real time you spend in each place you earn money.

Working and living on different states

If I work in a income tax free state and live in a taxed state, do I still have to pay state income tax on the money that I earned on the state with no income tax?
