  • Roth IRA During Medical School

Lucky enough to have a job (<5 hrs per week) that pays really well. Since I have interest free student loans, I would like to use this money I make to fund a Roth IRA. I set up a VanGuard account for Roth IRA already, and as soon as I get above the 3K amount, I plan to invest the money. Right now, the money is in a money market account.

I am 22, incoming MS1. Where can I put this money for aggressive/volatile growth within the Vanguard ecosystem?

Target date 2060 and I think the minimum is $1000.

most of them have a minimum amount before you can buy those funds. Right now, I am sitting at ~700. Some of them have minimum of 1K, others are 3 K

I change my answer. TDF because of the lower minimum.

Thank you for the advice everyone. I decided to go with the Vanguard Retirement 2065 Fund! By next April I hope to have the 6K in there.
